All personnel working at a PRO-TEC should be trained in the following:

• Safe handling of the stored material; and
• Correct response to an emergency; and
• Correct procedures including knowledge of all the applicable regulations.

Tie Downs & Paint Touch Up Kits

All PRO-TEC Storage Solutions are loaded at the plant using heavy equipment and are secured to the bed of the vehicle with tie down chains or straps. It is anticipated that this may result in minor paint damage on the base due to the shipping and loading procedures. PRO-TEC supplies a paint touchup aerosol to allow the end user to repair the areas that may have been damaged during the loading and shipping process.

Shipping Claim Procedure

On arrival of the transport truck at your site, please make sure that your PRO-TEC Storage Solution has arrived in its proper condition before signing off on the waybill. Any problems must be documented on the driver’s waybill. In all cases, we recommend that your authorized personnel be present at offloading.

Options and Accessories

Whenever possible, most options or accessories ordered with your PRO-TEC will be installed, or will be secured within the facility. Please verify you have received all items ordered. Some site assembly of accessories may be required.

Offloading

Easily offloaded with a forklift or a crane with spreader bar. Forklift pockets are 52 in. (1.32 m) apart from center of pocket. The pocket dimension is 9in. L x 4in. H (22.86 cm L x 10.2 cm H).
